Don Clarke of South Africa is one of the country's most successful and experienced songwriters. He has had many of his songs recorded over the years by a diverse section of artists, including his reconciliation song "Sanbonani" which was a hit for P J Powers in 1986, and currently writes most of the music for the films of Leon Schuster; South Africa's most successful film maker.
